Jesus tells us that our heart will occupy the people and places and things we treasure. God shows us over and over again that his heart is with those who are poor, hungry, oppressed, imprisoned, widowed and orphaned. God treasures these people. Do we?
Practice heart health. What in your day breaks God's heart? Attend to that.
For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also Matthew 6:21 (NIV)
